What Is BuoyBox®?

BuoyBox® is a floating, water-resistant survival kit built on the basics of survival training, as well as Homeland Security recommendations. BuoyBox® contains the items necessary for survival during and after an emergency.

Many parts of the country risk the potential of a wide range of weather related disasters.

With the increased threat of new worldwide disasters, such as bird flu, terrorism, etc., BuoyBox® Company was conceived as a vehicle to assemble and sell Disaster Preparedness Kits, so we all would have the necessary supplies at hand for survival in emergency situations.

As I researched the industry I realized a void existed where there was a need to promote a water-resistant container designed to protect important documents during a disaster.

Most people (myself included) are guilty of stashing many of our most important documents (birth certificates, insurance papers, mortgages, financial papers, passports, etc.) throughout our homes, where they are possible victims of an adverse weather-related or other emergency occurrence.

Pairing that with the necessity to have a Preparedness Kit, it was obvious to me that we all needed a product that could satisfy both needs. This meant the product container had to:

  • be water-resistant
  • have the ability to float
  • have a handle and be light enough to carry in an evacuation
  • hold items necessary for survival under emergency conditions

I was able to obtain and test containers from different companies, which claimed their products to be "water-resistant." One of the containers floated peacefully with no water intrusion, and allowed only a trickle inside after extensive sloshing and roiling. I had found my container and deemed it a "BuoyBox®"!

This seems aptly appropriate as buoys are widely recognized as safe-channel markers, friendly visions in stormy waters, always float in the same place, and provide comfort in times of distress. Though I sincerely hope you never have need to use it, rest assured, your BuoyBox® is there for you.

About The Founder

Just like you, I want to protect my family and myself from whatever bad things life throws our way. I created the BuoyBox® as one way to help insure that, and I sincerely hope you will find that too.

None of us wants to experience a situation that will put our BuoyBox®'s to use, but all of us want to know we are prepared should it occur.

After flying fighter jets in the military I spent considerable years in management with one of the largest big-box retailers in the country, largely due to the founder's devotion to "The Golden Rule." I experienced the pride of serving my country and of serving the public, in the most honorable of ways.

This is mine and my family's foundation, and the foundation you can expect of BuoyBox.com.

We also enjoy RV'ing, being on the water, and calling our pets "family." It will indeed be a pleasure to be of service to you and your family.
